Urban Wellness




From Wisconsin to Medellin; Wisconsin is in the midwest of the United States and it was in 1950 that the term Wellness came to be used by Halbert L. Dunn, known as the father of the Wellness movement, this expression today popularly used mainly by enthusiasts who worship a healthier life in several aspects. The term can be used for mental, physical and spiritual conditions, as well as social, labor and environmental health. Nowadays wellness is more than just a term, it is a necessity, with the eminent chaos ringing at every door the present coronavirus can serve as inspiration to dedicate ourselves to new activities and learn new methods of how to take care of the body and mind, since we cannot leave our homes. Traveling just a click away, Medellin is Colombia's second largest city located in the Aburrá Valley, a central region of the Andes in South America, Medellin has approximately 2.5 million inhabitants and one of them is Juan Luis or, better known as Maluma, singer who gave a new face to the reggaeton rhythm considers his art Urban, with underground rhythms like ballad, mambo, merengue the singer showed that Well-being can also be seen as art and a form of inspiration for a lifetime more healthy.
